Exceptional Achievement at Hambling View School
Year 11 Students Surpass Expectations!

Hambling View School is proud to celebrate the fantastic achievements of its Year 11 students who have successfully met their target levels in both English and Mathematics this academic year. A huge well done to them!

This accomplishment is particularly remarkable given the unique journeys of these students who joined the school at the beginning of Year 11 after experiencing significant periods of disrupted or limited access to formal education. Despite these challenges, their determination and ever-growing resilience have led to these great outcomes.

Staff at Hambling View School have worked tirelessly to provide tailored support, high-quality teaching, and a nurturing environment that enables every student to thrive. The results reflect not only the hard work of the students themselves but also the strong relationships built between staff and learners in a short period of time.

Headteacher, Beth Rowlinson, commented:
“We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students. Their achievements demonstrate what is possible when young people are given the right support, encouragement, and belief in their potential. Many of our students faced significant barriers before joining us, and to see them succeed in this way is truly heartwarming.”

The success of our students highlights the school’s commitment to inclusive education and its belief that every student, regardless of their starting point, can achieve meaningful academic success. Inclusion was noted as a Strong area in our recent Ofsted Inspection and this has been demonstrated in our students’ successes.

As we come to the end of the academic year, our Year 11 are ready to move on to the next stage of their education and staff here are Hambling View School are confident they will continue to build on this strong foundation.

Ofsted Report – February 2026

Celebrating Our Ofsted Report

We are delighted to share our excellent Ofsted report, which reflects the hard work, dedication, and vibrant spirit of our entire school community. The inspectors recognised the strong values that underpin everything we do and praised the positive, inclusive culture that our students and staff create together every day.

The report highlights many areas we are truly proud of, including:

  • Strong Standards in the Inclusion and Attendance and Behaviour categories
  • Confident, enthusiastic students who show pride in their school and have a real sense of belonging
  • A warm, supportive and safe atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported so that they can play a full active role in school life
  • A comprehensive Personal Development Programme in which students get to benefit from many opportunities to learn about the wider world and develop the skills they need for adult life
  • A suitably ambitious curriculum which meets the needs of all our students

This outcome of the inspection that took place in February this year is a testament to the commitment of our staff, the support of our families, and the hard work of our amazing students. We are thrilled to see our shared efforts recognised and celebrated.

We are excited to continue building on this success as we move forward, ensuring our school remains a joyful, nurturing, and high‑achieving place for every child.
